First Trimester
(0-13 Weeks)
The first trimester is an exciting time as your body begins to change. You can get vaccinated against the flu and COVID-19 at any point during your pregnancy, including the first trimester. Second Trimester
(14-27 Weeks)
The second trimester is an exciting time as you begin to feel your baby move, and your body continues to adapt to pregnancy. If you haven’t already, it’s a good time to get your flu and COVID-19 vaccines during this stage. The Tdap vaccine, which protects against tetanus, diphtheria, and whooping cough (pertussis), is also strongly recommended starting at 27 weeks. Click the buttons below to learn more.
Third Trimester
(28-40 Weeks)
As your body prepares for labor and delivery in the third trimester, it's a good time to make sure you're up to date on your vaccines. If you haven't already, you can get your flu and COVID-19 vaccines during this stage of pregnancy. The Tdap vaccine, which protects against tetanus, diphtheria, and whooping cough (pertussis), is recommended between 27 and 32 weeks.
